The Asia-Pacific Credit Coalition will attend this Asia-Pacific Financial Forum (APFF) seminar hosted by the ASEAN Business Advisory Council, the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), and the Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI). The seminar will address challenges SMEs face in accessing finance.
Patrick Walker will be attending the 2019 Strategy and Planning Meeting for APFF, APFIF, and APIP on behalf of PERC. The meeting will address concrete deliverables for 2019, including financial inclusion, the financial services data ecosystem, and MSME finance.

PERC is co-organizing a Financial Infrastructure Development Network workshop in Brunei. Dr. Turner and Patrick Walker will be speaking about the evolution of credit information systems, assessing credit risks of MSMEs, and promoting fairness, competition, and innovation.
Patrick Walker will be attending the Asia-Pacific Financial Forum’s Financial Data Ecosystem Roadmap Conference in Washington, DC. The conference will focus on the APFF’s Financial Data Ecosystem Roadmap initiative, which will be brought to the APEC Ministers of Finance meeting in October.
Dr. Turner will be participating as a panelist at the 11th World Consumer Credit Reporting Conference in India. He will be speaking on key regulatory developments impacting the future of the credit reporting and financial services industries.
