The public session will feature a series of panels to highlight the challenges associated with consumer debt and how they affect consumers, as well as introduce our solutions framework and the innovators leading the way on this critical financial issue.
PERC and the Asia-Pacific Credit Coalition (APCC) are co-organizing a day-long workshop on credit information sharing policy along with the Credit Information Corporation (CIC) and the APEC Business Advisory Council (ABAC). The workshop will be part of the 2018 Financial Infrastructure Development Network (FIDN) Conference in the Philippines. More details are coming soon.

Patrick Walker will be attending the Asia-Pacific Financial Forum’s Financial Data Ecosystem Roadmap Conference in Washington, DC. The conference will focus on the APFF’s Financial Data Ecosystem Roadmap initiative, which will be brought to the APEC Ministers of Finance meeting in October.
Dr. Turner will be participating as a panelist at the 11th World Consumer Credit Reporting Conference in India. He will be speaking on key regulatory developments impacting the future of the credit reporting and financial services industries.
Dr. Turner will be delivering a keynote address on Credit Invisibles and Credit Deserts at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau’s Building a Bridge to Credit Invisibility symposium.

Dr. Turner and Patrick Walker traveled across APEC member economies conducting field research for the Asia-Pacific Financial Forum’s (APFF’s) Baseline Survey of Credit Information Sharing.
