Jamaica is part of a regional effort at financial inclusion in general, and issues relating to creating a financial identity and using alternative data in consumer and commercial credit reporting specifically. PERC presented at the Caribbean Credit Reporting Conference sponsored by the IFC and the Bank of Jamaica. In Jamaica PERC has largely been in coordination with multi-laterals and NGOs, and has included:
- Presenting on the impacts of consumer credit reporting with the IFC/World Bank Group;
- Outreach to domestic and regional industry executives; and,
- Advocacy with government officials.
