PERC has undertaken a variety of efforts to secure credit reporting reform in Brazil—endeavoring to move the system from a punitive “negative-only” credit-reporting regime to a more inclusive full-file regime. PERC efforts in Brazil included:
- Conducting original research on the social and economic impacts of credit reporting regime change;
- Advocacy with key policymakers;
- Extensive media relations;
- Presentations and multi-lateral workshops on alternative data;
- Key note presentation at World Consumer Credit Reporting Conference in Rio
